Very important is a home loss of third ranked Celtics (37-23) against fourth ranked Bulls (16-44) on Saturday night. Host Celtics were defeated by Bulls in Boston 126-116. They made 20-of-21 charity shots (95.2 percent) during the game. Bulls outrebounded Celtics 49-32 including a 38-26 advantage in defensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. It was a good game for Finnish Lauri Markkanen (216-97, college: Arizona) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!) and 15 rebounds. Guard Zach LaVine (196-95, college: UCLA) contributed with 42 points (!!!), 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Bulls' coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Australian-American guard Kyrie Irving (190-92, college: Duke) answered with a double-double by scoring 37 points (!!!), 5 rebounds and 10 assists and Dominican power forward Alfred Horford (208-86, college: Florida) added 19 points in the effort for Celtics. Four Celtics players scored in double figures. Bulls have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain fourth place with 16-44 record. Celtics at the other side keep the third position with 23 games lost.
