Not a big story in a game in Tsukuba where 6th ranked Aomori Watts (12-31) were defeated by third ranked Cyberdyne IR (27-16) 86-79 on Saturday. Cyberdyne IR made 17-of-20 free shots (85.0 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was American forward Scootie Randall (198-90, college: Temple) who had a triple-double by scoring 30 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists (went 10 for 10 at the free throw line !!!). The other American import forward Connor Lammert (206-94, college: Texas) chipped in 16 points and 9 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Lithuanian power forward Julius Jucikas (205-89, agency: Octagon Europe) who recorded 25 points and 5 rebounds and American forward Cullen Russo (206-94, college: Fresno St.) added 21 points and 8 rebounds respectively. Aomori Watts' coach Noriyuki Kitaya rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Cyberdyne IR have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Toyotsu FE. Aomori Watts lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with 31 games lost. Cyberdyne IR will face again Aomori Watts (#6) at home in the next round.
