The most crucial game of the last day was a loss of top-ranked Raptors (44-17) in Orlando on Sunday night. Visitors were defeated by second ranked Magic (28-33) 113-98. It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of Raptors. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in the league. Magic looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Magic made 8 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of Montenegrin center Nikola Vucevic (213-90, college: USC) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 23 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Terrence Ross (201-91, college: Washington) contributed with 28 points and 9 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws) for the winners. Point guard Kyle Lowry (183-86, college: Villanova) replied with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 10 assists and 4 steals and Spanish center Marc Gasol (216-85) added 16 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Raptors. Four Magic and five Raptors players scored in double figures. Raptors' coach rotated eleven players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Magic maintains second position with 28-33 record having just two point less than leader Toronto R. Raptors at the other side still keep top place with 17 games lost.
