The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Slask (17-6) in Kolobrzeg on Sunday night. Visitors were defeated by twelfth ranked Kotwica (10-14) 80-76. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Jakub Stanios (180-94) who helped to win the game recording 13 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Swingman Szymon Ryzek (190-97) contributed with 15 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four Kotwica players scored in double figures. Power forward Aleksander Dziewa (205-97, agency: Octagon Europe) answered with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds and point guard Jakub Musial (185-98) added 18 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Slask. Kotwica have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain twelfth place with 10-14 record. Slask at the other side still keeps top position with six games lost. Kotwica are looking forward to face higher ranked GKS Tychy (#6) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Slask will play against Pogon Prudnik (#10) and is hoping to win this game.
