There was an upset when higher ranked Viola RC (15-7) was crushed on the road by twelfth ranked Valmontone (7-14) 86-64 on Sunday. Valmontone made 21-of-24 free shots (87.5 percent) during the game. Viola RC was plagued by 32 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was the former international power forward Luca Bisconti (208-82, agency: SPORTlab Agency) who scored 21 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Guard Daniele Grilli (190-87) chipped in 20 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Coach Sante De Cesaris's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest.
