There was a small surprise when eighth ranked Vigevano (14-9) beat on the road 6th ranked Alba (14-9) 78-63 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was point guard Lorenzo Panzini (185-90, agency: SPORTlab Agency) who scored 15 points and 5 rebounds. Center Lorenzo Petrosino (202-92) chipped in 13 points and 5 rebounds. Vigevano's coach Paolo Piazza used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Forward Luca Antonietti (198-94, agency: Octagon Europe) produced 17 points and 7 rebounds and center Emanuele Tarditi (204-93, agency: Octagon Europe) added 13 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Vigevano moved-up to fifth place in B, which they share with Urania Milano. Vigevano will face league's second-placed Omegna at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Alba will play against the league's leader Piombino and hope to win that game.
