Regular Season Round 22: Palma II - JAC Sants 66-62

There was a surprise result when tenth ranked Palma II (9-9) won against higher ranked JAC Sants (9-9) in S'Arenal 66-62 on Sunday. JAC Sants was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Quite impressive performance for naturalized Serbian power forward Stefan Asanin (206-91) who helped to win the game recording 12 points and 9 rebounds. Guard Alberto Garcia (192-87) contributed with 12 points for the winners. Point guard Roger Renau (184-97) replied with 16 points and Ferran Mas (193-97) added 11 points in the effort for JAC Sants. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Palma II have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to sixth place in Group C-B, which they share with JAC Sants and Alfinden. Palma II will face league's second-placed Mollet on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
