Regular Season Round 23: Centrum - Tromso 82-84

The most exciting game of round 23 in the BLNO took place in Oslo. This derby game ended with only two-point home defeat of 7th ranked Centrum (8-17) to sixth ranked Tromso (12-14) 84-82 in the game for the sixth place. Centrum trailed by 11 points after 3 quarters before a 21-12 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 82-84 at the end of the game. Tromso made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. It was a great evening for American guard Keon Lawrence (187-87, college: Seton Hall, agency: Interperformances) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 27 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. His fellow American import forward Cam Gregory (203-95, college: Loyola, MD) helped adding 11 points and 16 rebounds. Lawrence is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Five Tromso players scored in double figures. International guard Magnus Midtvedt (182-90) responded with 22 points and 4 assists and guard Oivind Lundestad (194-91, college: Point Loma) scored 23 points. Tromso maintains sixth place with 12-14 record. Centrum lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with 17 games lost. Tromso are looking forward to face league's second-placed Gimle BBK in Bergen in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Centrum will play at home against Fyllingen BBK (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
