There was no surprise in Aviles where 12th ranked ADBA (5-14) was defeated by tenth ranked Mataro Parc (7-12) 64-58 on Sunday. American guard Judy Jones (175-90, college: Grand Canyon) fired a double-double by scoring 26 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Power forward Marta Claret (185-92) chipped in 11 points and 8 rebounds. Alicia Villegas (174-94) produced 18 points and 6 rebounds and Ariadna Gonzalez (-96) added 8 points and 10 rebounds respectively for lost side. Newly promoted Mataro Parc maintains tenth place with 7-12 record which they share with defeated ADBA. Loser ADBA dropped to the tenth position with 14 games lost. Mataro Parc will face Coruna (#13) at home in the next round.
