WABA top team - Bulgarian Beroe (11-3) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed sixth ranked Slovenian Triglav (3-9) in Stara Zagora 66-44. Beroe held Triglav to an opponent 23.1 percent shooting from the field compared to 33.8 percent accuracy of the winners. Beroe forced 23 Triglav turnovers. They brought some defensive toughness making 10 blocks. Point guard Gergana Ivanova (177-99) stepped up and scored 18 points and 9 rebounds for the winners and point guard Saniya Chong (173-94, college: Connecticut) chipped in 12 points and 6 rebounds. Coach 's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Bosnian Lejla Omerbasic (182-97) responded with 13 points and 9 rebounds and guard Katarina Ristic (170-84, agency: Two Points) scored 13 points and 5 assists. Beroe maintains first place with 11-3 record. Triglav lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with nine games lost.
