An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Amorebieta-Echano. First ranked HLA Alicante faced 3rd placed Zornotza. Guests from Alicante (19-4) defeated host Zornotza (13-10) 91-78. It was an exceptional evening for American point guard Justin Pitts (178-94, college: NW Missouri St., agency: Duran International) who led the winners and scored 21 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. His fellow American import guard Devin Schmidt (193-94, college: Delta St., agency: Duran International) accounted for 29 points for the winning side. American-Liberian point guard Saah Nimley (173-93, college: Charleston So., agency: Blacktop Management) came up with 22 points and 5 assists and American-Nigerian forward Udun Osakue (198-92, college: San Francisco St.) added 10 points and 10 rebounds respectively for Zornotza in the defeat.
