There was no surprise when 12th ranked TS Ostrovia (2-17) was crushed on the road by sixth ranked Sleza Wroclaw (13-5) 92-65 on Wednesday. Sleza Wroclaw dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to TS Ostrovia's 30. They outrebounded TS Ostrovia 39-28 including 29 on the defensive glass. Sleza Wroclaw looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American Cierra Burdick (188-93, college: Tennessee, agency: LBM Management) who helped to win the game recording 16 points and 7 rebounds and naturalized American guard Marissa Kastanek (175-90, college: NC State) who added 17 points during the contest. Coach 's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Ukrainian guard Arina Bilotserkivska (170-89) responded with 18 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and Katarzyna Jaworska (188-94) scored 8 points and 12 rebounds. Sleza Wroclaw have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place. TS Ostrovia lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the twelfth position with 17 games lost. Sleza Wroclaw will meet AZS Gorzow Wielkopolski (#6) in the next round. TS Ostrovia will play against Artego Bydg. (#3) and hope to secure a win.
