There was no surprise in Warszawa where 16th ranked Trefl (4-16) was defeated by ninth ranked Legia (10-10) 75-58 on Saturday. Legia outrebounded Trefl 42-28 including a 33-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was American swingman Omar Prewitt (201-94, college: William & Mary) who scored 16 points and 6 rebounds. The former international guard Filip Matczak (187-93) chipped in 12 points and 4 assists. Legia's coach Tane Spasev used entire bench and allowed the starting five to get some rest.
