Rather expected game when 7th ranked Gifu Swoops (12-20) lost to fourth ranked Aisin AW (22-10) in Aichi 66-82 on Saturday. American forward Kevin Kotzur (203-89, college: St.Mary's, TX) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Niyokwizera Yves contributed with 18 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Four Aisin AW players scored in double figures. Montenegrin-Qatari forward Alen Hadzibegovic (209-99) replied with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 13 rebounds and American Bingo Merriex (206-80, college: TCU) added 14 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Gifu Swoops.
