Very predictable result when fourth ranked Ippokratis (12-7) defeated at home 12th ranked Apollon Patras (7-13) 84-71 on Saturday. Ippokratis dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to Apollon Patras' 24. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of center Kostas Charissis (212-79, college: USC) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 8 rebounds and forward Antonis Asimakopoulos (203-76) who added 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) during the contest. Four Ippokratis players scored in double figures. Ippokratis' coach Konstantinos Papadopoulos used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest.
