Very predictable result in Inowroclaw where third ranked Notec Inowr. (18-6) defeated 13th ranked Trefl II Sopot (4-20) 80-75 on Saturday. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Notec Inowr. forced 24 Trefl II Sopot turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Marcin Kowalewski (200-86) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 13 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists and point guard Aleksander Filipiak (185-90) who added 15 points, 11 assists and 9 steals (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) during the contest. The best for the losing side was Patryk Pulkotycki (203-0) with 18 points and 6 rebounds and center Mateusz Kowalski (210-0) scored 11 points and 8 rebounds. Five Notec Inowr. and four Trefl II Sopot players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Notec Inowr. maintains third position with 18-6 record behind leader Zubry, which they share with Zary. Trefl II Sopot lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the thirteenth place with 20 games lost. Notec Inowr. will have a break next round. Trefl II Sopot will play at home against Arka II (#5) and hope to win that game.
