Not a big story in a game when 6th ranked Aomori Watts (12-33) were defeated on the road by fourth ranked Fukushima (20-25) 85-78 on Saturday. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Evan Ravenel (204-89, college: Ohio St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 24 points and 11 rebounds and point guard Shinya Murakami (172-91) who added 19 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals during the contest. Four Fukushima players scored in double figures. Lithuanian power forward Julius Jucikas (205-89, agency: Octagon Europe) responded with 30 points and 6 rebounds and American forward Cullen Russo (206-94, college: Fresno St.) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points and 15 rebounds. Aomori Watts' coach Noriyuki Kitaya gave the chance to play for ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Fukushima maintains fourth position with 20-25 record. Aomori Watts lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with 33 games lost. Fukushima will face higher ranked Sendai 89ers (#3) on the road in the next round and it may be the game of the week.
