We should mention about the upset which took place in Velika Gorica, where higher ranked KK Zabok (8-7) lost to tenth ranked Gorica (6-9) in a road game 69-82. It looked good early as KK Zabok took a 9-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Gorica took control and eventually winning the game that evening by 13 points. They outrebounded KK Zabok 38-21 including a 25-13 advantage in defensive rebounds. 24 personal fouls committed by KK Zabok helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was an exceptional evening for Bosnian forward Ante Masic (200-85, agency: Global Sports Plaza) who led the winners and scored 20 points and 4 assists. Marko Bakovic (205-93, agency: PEPI SPORT) accounted for 13 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side. Forward Antonio Crnjevic (202-94) came up with 20 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and point guard Kresimir Radovcic (195-97) added 12 points respectively for KK Zabok in the defeat. KK Zabok's coach let to play twelve players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Gorica moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Sibenik. KK Zabok at the other side keeps the fifth position with seven games lost. Gorica's next round opponent will be league's leader Cibona in Zagreb and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
