The game between closely ranked teams ended with ninth ranked Boet's (9-10) home victory over bottom-ranked Valls Nutrion (7-12) 71-56 on Saturday. It was a great evening for American Nicholas Moore (198-91, college: Nyack) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds. Dutch swingman Raidell De-Pree (198-97, college: Kankakee CC) helped adding 15 points and 5 rebounds. American center Ryan Edwards (216-95, college: Portland St.) responded with 19 points and 8 rebounds (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) and forward Josep Sole (195-97) scored 8 points. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Boet maintains ninth place in Group C-A with 9-10 record. Loser Valls Nutrion stay at the bottom position with 12 games lost. Boet will face higher ranked Salou (#8) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Valls Nutrion will play against Castellbisbal and hope to win that game.
