Regular Season Round 16: WIT Wildcats - Glanmire 71-56

The game in Waterford was also quite interesting. One of their biggest challengers Glanmire (9-6) played at the court of sixth ranked WIT Wildcats (9-7). WIT Wildcats defeated Glanmire 71-56 on Saturday. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international forward Stephanie OShea (185-91) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds and Jasmine Walker who added 16 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Four WIT Wildcats players scored in double figures. At the losing side American guard Adella Randle-El (173, college: Sacramento St.) responded with 16 points and 6 rebounds and the former international forward Casey Grace (182-92, college: Fairfield) scored 11 points and 5 rebounds. Glanmire's coach let to play eleven players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. WIT Wildcats moved-up to fifth place. Defending champion Glanmire keeps the fourth position with six games lost. WIT Wildcats will face league's second-placed Fr.Mathews in Cork in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Glanmire will play at home against DCU Mercy and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
