Not a big story in a game when 9th ranked Aris (6-11) lost to second ranked Olympiacos (16-1) in Pireus 67-76 on Monday. Aris trailed by 12 points at halftime and as many as 16 after three quarters before a 18-11 last quarter charge cut the deficit to 67-76 at the end of the game. Olympiacos made 17-of-20 free shots (85.0 percent) during the game. Olympiacos had a 31-20 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American point guard Briante Weber (188-92, college: VCU) nailed 8 points, 8 rebounds and 13 assists for the winning side and French swingman Axel Toupane (197-92) accounted for 17 points.
