Another exciting game was again a derby between two local teams from Athens: Psychiko (#8) and Amyntas Dafnis (#9). Psychiko (10-11) won against visiting Amyntas Dafnis (11-10) 76-69. The best player for the winners was forward Nikolaos Papanikolaou (209-85) who had a double-double by scoring 30 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Nikos Arsenopoulos (195-0) chipped in 14 points and 5 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was point guard Leonidas Zoupas (185-82) who recorded 23 points and 7 assists and power forward Panagiotis Koukounias (201-88) added 16 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists respectively. Amyntas Dafnis' coach Alexis Zavos rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Despite that victory Psychiko went down to tenth position due to points difference. Loser Amyntas Dafnis dropped to the sixth place with ten games lost. Psychiko will face higher ranked Karditsas (#8) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
