The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Zwolle as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Zwolle defeated 3rd placed Den Bosch at home 76-69. Zwolle made 16-of-17 free shots (94.1 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was American guard Sherron Dorsey-Walker (193-93, college: Oakland) who scored 27 points. The former international forward Ralf Pagter (200-89) chipped in 9 points and 9 rebounds. American guard Vernon Taylor (192-87, college: Troy) produced a double-double by scoring 28 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and the other American import forward Jonathon Williams (198-90, college: Wagner) added 11 points and 4 assists respectively for the guests. Den Bosch's coach Ivica Skelin rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Zwolle (22-2) have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Den Bosch at the other side keeps the third place with seven games lost. They share the position with Groningen. Den Bosch will play next round against Dutch Windmills trying to get back on the winning streak. Zwolle will try to continue on its current victory against second ranked Leiden on the road.
