There was a minor upset in Salamanca where 10th ranked L'Hospitalet (9-16) was defeated by twelfth ranked Tormes (7-18) 99-91. They made 31-of-40 charity shots (77.5 percent) during the game, while L'Hospitalet only scored thirteen points from the stripe. Tormes had a 32-21 advantage in offensive rebounds. 35 personal fouls committed by L'Hospitalet helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a very good performance for American guard Casey Jones (196-93, college: Chattanooga) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 6 rebounds.
