Regular Season Round 23: Bologna - Faenza 76-60

Rather expected game when 5th ranked Faenza (16-7) was defeated on the road by third ranked Bologna (18-5) 76-60 on Saturday. It was a great evening for the former international point guard Raelin DAlie (168-87, college: Wisconsin, agency: LBM Management) who led her team to a victory scoring 18 points and 4 assists. Swingman Elisabetta Tassinari (175-94) helped adding 14 points and 4 assists. Bologna's coach Giancarlo Giroldi used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Lucia Morsiani (186-92) responded with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds and the former international forward Simona Ballardini (181-81) scored 15 points and 6 rebounds. Bologna maintains third place in A2 with 18-5 record having just two points less than leader Alpo VF. Loser Faenza keeps the fifth position with seven games lost. Bologna will face Savonese (#13) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Faenza will play against the league's leader Campobasso (#1) and hope to win that game.
