An interesting game for Nishinomiya S. (25-21) which played road game in Ishikawa against one of their biggest challengers Kanazawa Sam. (17-29). Third ranked Nishinomiya S. managed to get a 9-point victory 68-59. Point guard Noriaki Dohara (178-89) notched 20 points and 5 rebounds to lead the effort and point guard Sotaro Uehara (170-94) supported him with 10 points and 11 rebounds. Four Nishinomiya S. players scored in double figures. Nishinomiya S.'s coach Miodrag Rajkovic allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even a double-double of 18 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists by American power forward Denzel Bowles (208-89, college: JMU) did not help to save the game for Kanazawa Sam.. Jamaican-American power forward Ryan Reid (204-86, college: Florida St.) added 13 points and 7 rebounds for lost side. Nishinomiya S. have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 25-21 record having nine points less than leader Shinshu BW. Kanazawa Sam. lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the fourth place with 29 games lost. They share the position with Yamagata. Nishinomiya S. will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Kanazawa Sam. will play again against Nishinomiya S. (#3) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
