There was a minor upset when 9th ranked Scauri (10-13) was smashed by eleventh ranked IUL Tiber (10-14) in Roma 86-66 on Saturday. Scauri was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for power forward Alessandro Cecchetti (200-91) who led his team to a victory with 18 points and 8 rebounds. The former international Federico Lestini (204-83, agency: SPORTlab Agency) contributed with 23 points for the winners. Four IUL Tiber players scored in double figures. Andrea Longobardi (199-94) replied with 19 points and naturalized Argentinian power forward Guillermo Laguzzi (204-82) added 10 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Scauri. IUL Tiber moved-up to tenth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Scauri lost third consecutive game. They keep the ninth position with 13 games lost.
