Regular Season Round 25: Plasencia - Moron 48-60

There was a small surprise when ninth ranked Moron (12-14) beat on the road 7th ranked Plasencia (12-13) 60-48. Moron dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Plasencia's 22. They outrebounded Plasencia 39-27 including a 32-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a very good performance for American guard Taylor Cameron (196-91, college: Winona St.) who helped to win the game recording 16 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Naturalized Senegalese center Fall El-Hadji (210-92, agency: Interperformances) contributed with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. American-Jamaican Duane Morgan (198-93, college: Adelphi) answered with 12 points and 6 rebounds and guard German Martinez (189-98) added 12 points in the effort for Plasencia. Moron moved-up to sixth place in Silver. Plasencia at the other side dropped to the eighth position with 13 games lost. Moron's next round opponent will be Baskonia (#11) at home which should be theoretically an easy game. Plasencia will play against Menorca in Mahon and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
