Bottom-ranked Prinemanye managed to get a third victory, breaking the series of eight consecutive losses on Saturday night. This time they won against ninth-ranked GOCOR-Sozh in Gomel 90-79. The game without a history. Prinemanye led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Forward Dmitriy Mahnach (178-1) stepped up and scored 26 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners and forward Aleksey Vasilenko (195-99) chipped in 17 points and 11 rebounds. Guard Timofey Verevkin (185-93) responded with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 12 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals and guard Denis Yarets (188-89) scored 22 points and 6 assists. Four GOCOR-Sozh players scored in double figures. Prinemanye (3-20) moved-up to ninth place, which they share with defeated GOCOR-Sozh. GOCOR-Sozh lost their third game in a row. Prinemanye will face higher ranked Impuls BGUIR (#5) in Minsk in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
