Very important is a road loss of second ranked Toyoda Gosei (25-8) against ninth ranked Iwate Big Bulls (6-27) on Saturday night. Visiting Toyoda Gosei was defeated by Iwate Big Bulls in a tough game in Iwate 70-75. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Toyoda Gosei. It was an exceptional evening for American center Marcus Cousin (211-86, college: Houston) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists. Point guard Ban Kosei (168-93) accounted for 19 points for the winning side. Iwate Big Bulls' coach Yuma Yoshida allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. American-Irish Brian Voelkel (196-92, college: Vermont) came up with 9 points, 17 rebounds and 11 assists and American Patrick Simon (203-92, college: Seattle Pacific) added 25 points and 11 rebounds respectively for Toyoda Gosei in the defeat. Iwate Big Bulls maintains ninth place with 6-27 record. Toyoda Gosei at the other side keeps the second position with eight games lost. Iwate Big Bulls will again play against league's second-placed Toyoda Gosei in Aichi in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
