There was an upset in Madrid where higher ranked Quintanar (12-11) was rolled over by thirteenth ranked Zentro Basket (9-15) 85-65 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was power forward Guillermo Bastante (201-98) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 15 rebounds. Swedish guard Erik Persson (190-0, agency: Dynamics Global Management) chipped in 15 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Zentro Basket players scored in double figures. Zentro Basket's coach Fernando Reborio used entire bench saving starting five for next games. At the other side the best for losing team was Canadian guard Brandon Tull (193-93, college: Regina) who recorded 27 points and 6 rebounds and American guard Khion Sankey (196-92, college: Lipscomb) added 11 points and 11 rebounds respectively.
