Eighth-ranked Golden Stars (25-20) made lots of trouble for sixth ranked Beijing Ducks (29-16) on Saturday. Beijing Ducks managed to secure only one-point victory 98-97. However their fans expected easier game. Beijing Ducks looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Beijing Ducks made 7 blocks. Croatian-American center Justin Hamilton (213-90, college: LSU) fired a double-double by scoring 26 points, 13 rebounds and 4 blocks for the winners. The former international center YanXi Zhu (209-90) chipped in 22 points and 5 rebounds. Lithuanian power forward Donatas Motiejunas (213-90) produced 24 points and 9 rebounds and American point guard Ty Lawson (180-87, college: N.Carolina) added 25 points and 8 assists respectively for lost side.
