The game between Top Four teams took place in Hiroshima. 3rd placed host Dragonflies (29-18) lost to second ranked Toyotsu FE (31-16) 96-86. It was a great shooting night for Toyotsu FE especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 56.3 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. American center Garrett Stutz (214-90, college: Wichita St.) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 15 rebounds and 8 assists. Center Naruhisa Takamura (194-84) contributed with 18 points and 5 assists for the winners. American power forward Jamari Traylor (203-92, college: Kansas) answered with 25 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists and the other American import forward Carl Landry (206-83, college: Purdue) added 19 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Dragonflies. Five Toyotsu FE and four Dragonflies players scored in double figures. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Toyotsu FE. They maintain second place with 31-16 record having just three points less than leader Shinshu BW. Dragonflies lost their third game in a row. Newly promoted team keep the third position with 18 games lost. Toyotsu FE's next round opponent will be league's leader Gunma at home and it will be for sure the game of the week. Dragonflies will play against the league's leader Shimane Magic and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
