Rather predictable result when second ranked Shimane Magic (34-13) defeated on the road 6th ranked Aomori Watts (12-35) 84-78 on Sunday. Shimane Magic made 18-of-20 free shots (90.0 percent) during the game. They also forced 20 Aomori Watts turnovers and outrebounded them 35-21 including a 16-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great evening for Venezuelan center Gregory Echenique (206-90, college: Creighton, agency: Pensack Sports) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 18 rebounds.
