Everything went according to plan when eleventh ranked Omnia Basket (12-12) defeated 17th ranked Rosmini D. (1-22) in Pavia 76-65 on Sunday. They outrebounded Rosmini D. 43-30 including 32 on the defensive glass. It was a good game for point guard Daniele Manuelli (192-94) who led his team to a victory with 17 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Swingman Nicolo Benedusi (193-88, agency: Octagon Europe) contributed with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Five Omnia Basket players scored in double figures. Power forward Daniele DAndrea (204-96) replied with 16 points and 5 rebounds and Patrick Avanzini (195-96) added 10 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Rosmini D.Omnia Basket moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Vicenza. Rosmini D. lost tenth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the seventeenth position with 22 games lost. Omnia Basket will face Mamy.eu Oleggio (#12) on the road in the next round.
