No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Olimpia Matera (18-6) beat at home 11th ranked Capo d'Orlando (9-15) 74-64 on Sunday. It was a good game for naturalized Argentinian power forward Enzo-Damian Cena (200-92) who led his team to a victory with 16 points and 6 rebounds. Point guard Daniele Merletto (175-93) contributed with 14 points, 9 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Center Riccardo Bartolozzi (201-95) replied with 12 points and 9 rebounds and forward Luca Bolletta (198-91) added 11 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Capo d'Orlando. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
