Bottom-ranked Mursa managed to get a third victory, breaking the series of three consecutive losses. This time newly promoted Mursa edged tenth-ranked Plamen Pozega in Osijek 72-70. Plamen Pozega was ahead by 1 point at the halftime before a 15-11 third quarter run of Mursa. They also forced 19 Plamen Pozega turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of Petra Simunic (-93) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 8 assists. Allison Zalin (-95) contributed with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 12 rebounds and 5 blocks for the winners. Mursa's coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. American guard Brittney Dunbar (173-93, college: Weber St.) answered with a triple-double by scoring 20 points, 14 rebounds, 11 assists and 5 steals and the other American import forward Mariah-Cauhryn Smelser (188-93, college: Jackson St.) added 25 points and 17 rebounds in the effort for Plamen Pozega. Mursa (3-16) moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Pozega. Mursa will play against higher ranked Sibenik (#8) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Plamen Pozega will play against the league's second-placed ZKK Medvescak having rather not much hope for a victory.
