We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 9th ranked Sao Jose (9-15) was defeated at home by tenth ranked Paschoalotto/Bauru (9-14) 83-74 on Thursday. Paschoalotto/Bauru forced 22 Sao Jose turnovers. Sao Jose was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was the former international Jefferson Andrade (207-83) who scored 21 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international power forward Lucas Mariano (208-93) chipped in 16 points. At the other side the best for losing team was Douglas Nunes (208-87) who recorded 17 points and 7 rebounds and Pedro Lima (191-87) added 18 points respectively.
