There was no surprise when 7th ranked Wetterbygden (12-23) was defeated on the road by second ranked Norrkoping Dolphins (26-9) 78-67. American point guard Johnell Smith (180-80, college: New Orleans) notched 11 points and 4 assists to lead the effort and the other American import point guard Shakir Smith (185-92, college: Adams St.) supported him with 13 points. Four Norrkoping Dolphins players scored in double figures. Even 10 points and 4 assists by Spanish guard Guim Exposito (197-94) did not help to save the game for Wetterbygden. Trinidad and Tobago center Kyle Rowley (212-90, college: St.Mary's, CA, agency: Duran International) added 11 points for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Defending champion maintains second position with 26-9 record having just two points less than leader Sodertalje, which they share with Boras. Wetterbygden lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the seventh place with 23 games lost. Norrkoping Dolphins' next round opponent will be BC Lulea (#4) at home.
