We should mention about the upset which took place in Antwerp, where higher ranked Gistel Oostende (10-13) was outleveled in a road game by thirteenth ranked Giants B (5-16) 78-55. It was a great shooting night for Giants B especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 53.3 percentage. They brought some defensive toughness making 23 blocks. The winners were led by swingman Killian Van-Den-Langenbergh (197-98) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 17 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists and international Vrenz Bleijenbergh (206-0) supported him with 13 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Five Giants B players scored in double figures. Giants B's coach felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even a double-double of 20 points and 17 rebounds by center Servaas Buysschaert (204-99, agency: Court Side) did not help to save the game for Gistel Oostende. Croatian forward Luka Kotrulja (196-98) added 10 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Giants B maintains thirteenth position with 5-16 record. Gistel Oostende lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the eighth place with 13 games lost. Giants B's next round opponent will be league's second-placed Melsele on the road and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
