Very predictable result when third ranked Vivo/Franca (19-3) beat on the road 9th ranked Sao Jose (9-15) 98-80 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was international forward Lucas Silva (209-95) who scored 19 points and 4 assists. The former international Lucas Cipolini (206-86, college: BYU-Hawaii) chipped in 14 points and 8 rebounds (perfect from the field making all six shots). Five Vivo/Franca players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Douglas Nunes (208-87) who recorded 20 points and 6 rebounds and Argentinian point guard Fabian Sahdi (186-89) added 13 points and 6 assists respectively. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Vivo/Franca have a solid three-game winning streak.
