There was a surprise result when thirteenth ranked Burgos (10-13) won against at home higher ranked Andorra (11-12) 66-62 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 5 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 6-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 66-62. Serbian center Goran Huskic (210-92, college: Howard Col., TX) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds. American swingman Dominique Sutton (198-86, college: N.C.Central) contributed with a double-double by scoring 10 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Naturalized Senegalese center Moussa Diagne (211-94, agency: Interperformances) answered with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 15 rebounds and American forward Reggie Upshaw (203-95, college: Middle Tenn.St.) added 12 points in the effort for Andorra. Four Andorra players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Burgos moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Obradoiro. Loser Andorra keeps the ninth position with 12 games lost. Burgos will face higher ranked La ICL Manresa (#7) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
