An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Shimane. First ranked Shimane Magic faced 3rd ranked Dragonflies. Host Shimane Magic (35-13) defeated guests from Hiroshima (29-19) 79-72. The winners were led by Hungarian Rosco Allen (208-93, college: Stanford, agency: Pensack Sports) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 38 points (!!!) and 14 rebounds and Venezuelan center Gregory Echenique (206-90, college: Creighton, agency: Pensack Sports) supported him with 10 points and 11 rebounds. Shimane Magic's coach Yukinori Suzuki allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even a double-double of 28 points, 13 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals by American power forward Jamari Traylor (203-92, college: Kansas) did not help to save the game for Dragonflies. The former international forward Shogo Asayama (192-81) added 10 points and 6 rebounds. Shimane Magic have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 35-13 record, which they share with Gunma. Dragonflies lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keep the third place with 19 games lost. Shimane Magic's next round opponent will be again Dragonflies (#3) in Hiroshima, which may be the game of the day.
