There was no surprise when 11th ranked Przemysl (10-16) lost at home to second ranked Polonia Bytom (21-5) 91-75 on Saturday. Polonia Bytom outrebounded Przemysl 45-30 including a 36-25 advantage in defensive rebounds. Emil Podkowinski (194-88) orchestrated the victory by scoring 27 points and 8 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). Swingman Norbert Kujon (194-92) contributed with 17 points for the winners. Four Polonia Bytom players scored in double figures. Forward Kacper Walciszewski (199-0) replied with 20 points and 9 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) and guard Jakub Kucharski (186-0) added 11 points in the effort for Przemysl. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Polonia Bytom maintains second position with 21-5 record having just 2 victories less than leader Zubry. Loser Przemysl dropped to the ninth place with 16 games lost.
