An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Fukushima. First ranked Shinshu BW faced 4th ranked Fukushima. Guests from Nagano (39-9) defeated host Fukushima (20-28) 76-61. Shinshu BW forced 22 Fukushima turnovers. The game was dominated by American players. Worth to mention a great performance of Anthony McHenry (202-83, college: Georgia Tech) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points, 12 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals and swingman Richard Roby (198-85) who added 19 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Five Shinshu BW players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was center Chris Brady (208-95, college: Monmouth) with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 15 rebounds and power forward Evan Ravenel (204-89, college: Ohio St.) scored 16 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Shinshu BW have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 39-9 record. Fukushima lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourth place with 28 games lost. Shinshu BW will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Fukushima will play again against the league's leader Shinshu BW (#1) and hope to secure a win.
