We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when fifth ranked Tokyo Z (16-32) beat at home one of their biggest challengers Orange Vikings (18-30) 86-77 on Saturday. Tokyo Z looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. The best player for the winners was Australian power forward Daniel Johnson (212-88, college: Pepperdine) who had a double-double by scoring 19 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Tokyo Z maintains fifth position with 16-32 record. Loser Orange Vikings keep the fourth place with 30 games lost. Tokyo Z will face again higher ranked Orange Vikings (#4) in Matsuyama in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
