Regular Season Round 46: San-en - Osaka Evessa 68-86

Round 46 most important game was a victory of Osaka Evessa over 5th ranked San-en NeoPhoenix 86-68 on Saturday night. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Josh Harrellson (208-89, college: Kentucky) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 30 points and 19 rebounds. The other American import power forward Xavier Gibson (210-88, college: Florida St.) contributed with 19 points and 5 assists for the winners. American center William McDonald (211-79, college: S.Florida) replied with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds and point guard Shinnosuke Ohishi (174-87) added 12 points and 13 rebounds in the effort for San-en NeoPhoenix. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Osaka Evessa maintains fourth position with 18-28 record. San-en NeoPhoenix lost eighth consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with 29 games lost. Osaka Evessa will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. San-en NeoPhoenix will play again at home against Osaka Evessa (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
