There was an upset when 4th placed Olimpia Matera (18-7) was defeated on the road by fourteenth ranked Pozzuoli (6-19) 85-77 on Saturday. Pozzuoli shot 61.2 percent from the field. It was a great shooting night for Pozzuoli especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 80.0 percentage. Four Olimpia Matera players scored in double figures. Newly promoted Pozzuoli maintains fourteenth place in B with 6-19 record, which they share with Lugo. Loser Olimpia Matera still keeps top position with seven games lost. Pozzuoli will face Catania Alfa (#15) at home in the next round.
