Very expected game when 9th ranked Widzew (6-15) was defeated on the road by fourth ranked Sleza Wroclaw (15-6) 72-66. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. American Cierra Burdick (188-93, college: Tennessee, agency: LBM Management) orchestrated the victory by scoring 23 points and 7 rebounds (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line). Ukrainian center Taisia Udodenko (191-89) contributed with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Sleza Wroclaw's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Serbian forward Katarina Vuckovic (190-94, college: Georgia Tech) answered with 18 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and Croatian Klaudija Perisa (180-96) added 12 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Widzew.
