Regular Season Round 42: Kagoshima - Tokyo Big Blue 81-95

Tokyo Big Blue has finally registered their first victory this season after 35 consecutive losses. The win is especially important as it came on the road game in Renova, where they defeated Kagoshima (13-23) 95-81. American guard Andre Murray (188-87, college: Portland St.) notched 29 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists to lead the effort and forward Bryan Simpson (197-84) supported him with 15 points and 13 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Four Tokyo Big Blue players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 18 points and 22 rebounds by Bahamas center Gjio Bain (211-85, college: S.Mississippi) did not help to save the game for Kagoshima. Kiichi Kawakami (188-95) added 20 points. Tokyo Big Blue maintains tenth position with 1-35 record. Kagoshima at the other side keeps the seventh place with 23 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
